Putting the pan in pandemic…
If you are like me and received an unplanned sabbatical but want to make the most of it, then you too may have been looking to sharpen your skills in the kitchen. It has been (counts on fingers to check), holy smokes, over one month since I last sat behind my desk, or attended a meeting, or even put on dress pants. I have used this, umm, “opportunity” to take a deep dive into recipes of some of my favorite foods that I have always loved but never even thought to make from scratch at home.
The idea here is to cook standard kitchen recipes, but the very best versions of them.
The crazy, iterative, “twist on a classic” stuff is not my style…
